Gay Against You are the enthusiastic, messy and very, very friendly duo of Lachlann Rattray and Joseph Howe. They are influenced by The Minutemen, Magma and other bands beginning with 'M'. Regardless of these influences, we tend to agree with Terrorizer that they sound a bit like "a council estate Butthole Surfers".

Gay Against You formed about three years ago in Glasgow and now essentially live on tour. Their live show is always a revelation, often involving craft paper pyrotechnics, crowd surfing, on the spot jogging and hearts being sung out. It's this ecstatic grasp of the wonderful and the unexpected that helps them write their music.
